metal shavings in radiator
so i own a 99 civic ex i got it from a guy who had swapped a b20b4 into it i and it wasnt running i got it running two days ago and today was the first day i actually got on it as soon as i started slowing down my car started to sound like a subie so i drove it home and on the way home it seemed to have a hard time climbing in speed i got home opened the radiator and there was metall shaving in it im not sure what this is any info would be great

You need to do a lot more checks before anyone can help you. Metal shavings in the radiator doesn't point to anything specific unless you had a water pump failure. More background is needed and what made you decide to look inside the radiator exactly? Odd logic in my opinion, just want to understand your thought process.

Did it over heat? Does it smoke? Any loss of oil. Coolant? Any strange noises other than sounding like a subaru? (Usually a sign of a misfire on a cylinder)

haha i feel pretty dumb i even posted this i was a little intoxacted haha but it was misfiring one of the plugs had fell off of the distributor and the metal shaving in the radiator was some kind of stuff the previous owner had put in the radiator from not leaking but as always honda tech comes threw thank you all for your input
