Intermittent shudder/bog/stall - Integra
I'll try and keep this short and sweet.
99 Integra GS, bone stock.
*I'll start off by saying the car is displaying CEL 67 Catalyst system Efficiency Below Threshold malfunctioning or defective catalyst system *
Every few days I drive the car it begins to shudder to the point where it shuts off. Some times it fires right back up, but needs help to stay running. Some times it cranks, but wont turn over, but 5 mins later it fires up like nothing happened.
Some times it runs completly fine for a week, and then boom stalls. The last two times it has happened was right after I put fuel in it. 5 mins down the road it starts bogging, chugging and tries to shut off. I dont know if that is a coincidence or if it has some thing to do with the problem.
The car has a new distributor, plugs/wires, *bolt in walker cat with 5000miles*, new bosch o2 sensors.
It has me stumped, could it just be the cat is pooched, like the CEL says? Would it cause the car to completely shut off?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
