H22 No Spark on CYL. 1. 2. & 3...Please Help!!!!
Hey guys, I've searched on here and Google and have had little to no luck at all. Anyways here's my problem.
My car is finally at the point of start up!! (she's been in the process of being built for about a year now), but besides that I'm encountering an issue I'm not all to familiar with.... now to get everyone reading on the same page I'll elaborate as well as possible! The car turns over reads 40PSI at the fuel rail and car turns over smoothly (as if it wants to start). It will crank, crank, & crank but just wont start I then tested spark and found it had no spark on the spark plug wires I tested... I assumed it was a distributor so upon removal of the current distributor that was on the car I inspected the internals and the rotor button actually had come off and broke all the connection tabs on the distributor cap.
Furthermore, I purchased a new distributor and installed it and same issue! (crank, crank, crank... but NO start!) I borrowed my buddies spark plug tester and found that Cylinders 1, 2, and 3 had NO spark at all getting to it; however, Cylinder #4 is getting spark every time consistently. I then swapped the cap, and rotor button from the new distributor and put it on the old one (Thus making the old trashed distributor good again) and the same issue happened no spark on cyl. 1, 2, & 3 and only had spark on #4...to my assumption the probability of it being a distributor is slim to none. I'm simply just stumped Honda-tech and need the experts help!
Any help and input is greatly appreciated this has been a project for a year now and would just like to get her back on the road! please like mentioned any and all help will be much appreciated thanks so much and truly hope someone may have some insight as to what exactly is going on and steps or process to figure out the culprit! To anyone who is interested here is what the bay looks like now as she eagerly awaits to be awaken!

What year is the H22 and what engine management system are you using?
Sounds like it could be somethings up with the CKP or TDC sensors.

My bad I should have added all that!...
It's a 95 Honda prelude, the h22a is obd1 (94 I believe)... I'm running it on a P28 Hondata S300 on boost by gear.
Thanks for the help though man. Checked all the wires and switched them up (cylinder 4 wire switch with cylinder 3, 2 ,1 etc.) still no matter what combination only cylinder 4 got spark...

ECU can be ruled out. Just tested another p28 on my car with a base-map for my car specifically and still doing the same thing.
picked up a harness from an older accord going to test the harness next.

Thanks for all the help GhostAccord!! The ecu did not show any codes and im sure I could have datalogged and got something out of it. I pulled a harness out of the junkyard and found that my "Custom Harness" that was done by a fellow Honda-tech user had wires in improper locations and just so happened that 2 of them were going to the distributor... needless to say I manually checked for spark today after pinning them in the correct pin location and connector and now I have spark 4 times in a full rotation (360 degrees) of rotor button. I will figure out what those wires went to exactly and give a complete reasoning why it did what it did. but thankfully the issue is long gone and is a great early xmas gift!
