GSR axles with a Type R transmission?

GSR axles with a Type R transmission?
I have searched for about 3 hours trying to find info on this. My friend has a 98 GSR and his trans. is messed up. He wants to buy a type r lsd tranny. Will his stock GSR axles work with the Type r trans.? I know the Type r axles have a different part number at acura but im thinking that might be just because the type r is 5 lug. Any information on this will be very helpful. Thank you.

no when you put them on after a couple miles your axles will crack and your tranny will break...

you will need type r axles becuz gsr and type r axles are different. you need to mate the type r axles with tranny

I can't remember if the Type-R Driver side axle is a female or a male CV joint on the inner side but what ever it is, you need to match the half shaft with the right drivers side axle. The passenger side are all the same on all B series
