Re: fuel pump wont turn on!!HELP
There are 3 fuses that "control" the fuel pump, [PGM-FI Main Relay]....
1- Fuse 24 - 15A (20A GS-R) hot in run and start] in SRS fuse block, [black/yellow]
2- Fuse 18 - 7.5A, [hot during crank to start only] in under dash fuse box, [blue/white].
3- Fuse 31 - 15A, [hot at all times] in engine bay fuse box, [yellow/white]
Fuse 1 is fuel injector relay control, [one side of relays coil] and main power for fuel pump relay.
Fuse 2 is "back-up" power for fuel pump relay control, [one side of relays coil].
Fuse 3 is injector relays main power and ful pump relay control, [same side of relays coil as fuse 2].
The PGM-FI Main Relay outputs are...
Yellow/black, injector relay output, [hot in run and start] powered by fuse 31.
Yellow/green, fuel pump relays output, powered by fuse 1, [hot when ECU/ECM supplies ground to turn relay on, green/blue lead].

Re: fuel pump wont turn on!!HELP
this is soo annoying, so i hardwire the fuel pump straight to the battery just to see if the car will start, fuel pump is on but car does the same thing cranks but no start, have spark, checked all the fuses fcm told me too, but i will double check. i took off my fuel rail to see if my injector sprayed out fuel and when i try to crank it with the injectors out no fuel comes outta the injector but if i take the injectors out of the fuel rail it will spray every where. so it took off my fuel rail and cleaned my fuel rail and injectors put it all back on and did the same thing, then i tried diffrent injectors and still the same thing.
ive had soo manny people out here in the north west that have looked at my car that supposedly know every thing and they dont know why the hell it does this is there anyone that could help me please? or someone that lives out here can come look at this im out of money and stuck.
appreciate all sugjestions and will try every one of them that you could think it might be
help!!

Re: fuel pump wont turn on!!HELP
As I said, the PGM-FI Main Relay supplies power to the fuel pump and the fuel injectors, powering the pump directly will only get the fuel pump working, the injectors also have to work.
Try this, if you have not already, rewire pump properly, turn the ign. switch to run, not start, can you hear the fuel pump prime the fuel system, [run for a few sec.]?
If you do not hear the pump the PGM-FI Main Relay, [fuel pump relay] is not turning on, so it is a good bet the injector relay is also not turning on.
The injector relay supplies power to the injectors and a few engine valve/solenoids, it also supplies a 12V+ signal/power to the ECU/ECM, [two (2) inputs] if the ECU/ECM does not see power on those 2 inputs the injectors will not pulse, [fire].
With the ign. switch on, [run, not start] test for power, [12V+] at the injectors, [wire that is the same color on all 4 injectors, let me know what you find. 94

Re: fuel pump wont turn on!!HELP
check the valve cover ground, tranny ground and tstat ground, sounds like the injectors might be bad if you said it wouldn't spray anything out them and then when you removed them it would gush fuel out of the rail.

Have you checked to see if you have power at the injectors yet? 94
