Hey I am in need of some serious help because i am totally stumped. I have a 2000 honda Crv and a few weeks ago while driving my car just died and would not start. Well after getting it home I figured out that my fuel pump was not turning on. So I realized the F/I fuse under the hood was blown. I replaced it but as soon as you turn the key it blows the fuse immediately.
So to make a long story in the pursuit of trying to fix this problem.
I have tried:
Replacing the fuel pump
4 different main relays
2 different ECU.
I have been able to narrow the problem down to the (C) connector on the ECU. Because when that connector is not connected to the ECU the fuse will not blow and the pump will kick on an prime the system like normal. So it is only when that connector is connected that it will blow that fuse. I have even tried looking at a wiring diagram and I cant seem to find what would go to the (C) connector that would be causing the short and making that circuit blow.

Please help I am totally lost on what else it could be.

What was the last thing you did to the car before this fuse started blowing?

The last thing i did before the car died on me was go to the car wash. It was just an exterior wash though I did not clean the engine bay or even the under carriage. When I was done at the wash the car started up and ran just fine and then I drove off and it died down the road
