Default Exhaust

I'm in the process of deciding how I want set up my exhaust for my eg6 hatchback. It has a b16b motor with 2.25 inch piping. I want to an exhaust that sounds good and doesn't cost a lot. My initial thought was to get a magnaflow muffler and a hi flow cat or a flow master with the same set up. I then wanted tp spring for tanabe or apex WS2 however they are a bit too quiet for my personal preference. Give me y'all suggestions. Thanks.

well when i have ALL int in my hatch its not bad with carpet out ( no sound deading) its kinda loud. overall to ME its no worse than other exhausts. outside is a whole other deal. i had a friend drive by me one day in 2nd and cross over that thing will make ears bleed.

i feel its a good mix if free flow and just enough back pressure. i will NEVER buy anything diff

BUT if your cops are dicks to honda's you will want to use the provided silencer. it will keep the little bit of raspy out but theres not much in it IMO. it MAYBE quiets 5db's

The cops in my area can be dickish but I've never heard of any of my buddies being pulled over for their exhausts.

well buy it new from BC usa i thinks its $500 ISH make sure you keep silencer. i bought mine used for a GREAT great price but no silencer ($50 from bc usa) and if your using a oem b16/b series exhaust manifold you will need a test pipe 13" long to make up the gap (if no cat).

just keep in mind they may not be dicks now but with that exhaust they may become VERY fast exp if you drive like an ***. at WOT in vtec it can be heard about 1/2 mile or better (so i am told)
