Engine Loses power after hard turn
This problem has happened several times before. I have an '03 Ep3. When I make a hard turn, like 45-50 mph, for an extended period of time, like getting on the interstate, the engine will lose power and the rev limiter will limit at 4k. This is especially not fun immediately upon merging into traffic on the interstate. When this happens, the CEL will come on. I can reset it by pulling over and turning the car off. The CEL usually takes a bit to go off but does by itself. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem with any car. Also, do I just need to man-up and buy a baffled oil pan? thanks for the input.

Re: Engine Loses power after hard turn
I don't have a chance to check to code. It goes off before I reach my destination. I think the oil was really low, but the light never comes on. Last time it took it in to get the valves adjusted they said I was 2qts low and the light still never came on. Added oil this time, it hasnt happened since. Doing an oil change very soon. Oh well.
