Default Electronic B18 LS tranny to Cable ef

Hey,
I have a 91 EF that I put an OBD2 motor in. I have already converted everything to OBD1 and car runs great. The only issue I have is my tranny is electronic and my car is cable. I need to pass BAR so I need to fix this first. Will a cable speed sensor fit and work? Or will I still throw the code since harness isnt sensing the signal? Is there a conversion available? I am stuck here at the momment.

-91 honda civic si hatch converted to OBD1
-b18b OBD2 motor converted to OBD1
-b18 LS transmission that is electronic.
-Car is for cable tranny.
-No CEL codes exept for the speed senor.
-Manual.

Thank you.

I would check in the Civic forum, maybe someone there knows of a VSS to cable adapter from one of the "engine swap" parts suppliers. 94

From what I recall those cars have an electronic VSS in the cluster driven by the speedo cable. Run a cable VSS and I think it should fix your issue.
