iono about honda cleaning, but i read this procedure somewhere. get a bottle of Techron, take a can of tuna, eat the tuna, punch four holes in the bottom of the can big enough for the tip of the injector, place them in the can, put the can in the cleaner and pour techron just to cover the can. shake vigoursly for as long as needed. you can also rig up something to pulse the injectors while they soak.

So pretty much you have to you have to use a cleaner of some sort. What about new injectors? Stock? Bosch?

Don't waste your money. Honda injectors are pretty darn good and rarely need to be replaced or cleaned out of the car, unless you fill up at the worst gas station in town. You know, the one with the hole in the underground tank that lets water and mud in. If you have to, use something like Chevron's Techron in the fuel tank.

Re: DIY fuel injector cleaning??? (Nameless)
MattG,
The system is quite expensive i believe its about 400 bucks...I believe the system can be purchased from OR?? Not exactly sure what the company name is but its a standard fuel injection cleaner.
A few of my friends who attend automotive trade school have done this to their cars since they have access to the tool at school and said it helped out considerably. Dunno if its worth 400 though
