Default Difference between Civic EX/Si Steering Knuckle and DC2 Steering Knuckles?

Is there a difference between Civic steering knuckles with 10.3" rotors (EX/Si) and Integra (DC2) steering knuckles? I replaced one of my steering knuckles that broke with an integra steering knuckle from a junkyard and now the camber is way off (more positive) and the wheel sticks out noticeably further than the other wheel. Ive got GSR brakes all around. Im wondering if this could be caused by the knuckle...

Was that supposed to he an insult? Lol.

EX/Si And DC2 Knuckles both utilize 10.3" rotors and corresponding calipers. They both use the same hub and lower ball joint assemblies. Honda is lazy and uses the same parts for a lot of its cars, which is why we are able to swap so much from the integra to the civic, leading me to assume that if everything is the same, and if fits, then why would anything be different? My only question is, because it's damn near impossible to tell without precision measuring equipment, is the casting exactly the same between the knuckles? Or is the integra knuckle just slightly taller, or something else.

If you don't know, keep your comments to yourself. Thanks.

the only thing i would recomend is either

1. get an alignment and see if it will remedy the problem...
or 2. get the matching nuckle on the other side and get a camber kit?

i would personally start with an alignment as i've swapped civic/integra knuckles multiple times and never had a problem, although as always when changing suspension pieces its always a good idea to get an alignment afterwords! :-)

You ASSumed wrong. You were too lazy to do a few simple measurements(tape measure is precise enough) and just swapped some parts on your bucket, now you are trolling around begging for answers because you are STILL to lazy to figure out a simple parts problem. Your "self proclaimed" mechanic sig hits the nail on the head.. Thats why I LoL'd.

I got an alignment and it didn't remedy the problem, unfortunately. My camber is about 1 degree off from left to right. I also replaced my upper control arms with stock ones to make sure that the kits I had weren't the problem. I also went back to the junkyard and got the other knuckle from the same integra. I'll swap it today or tomorrow and see if it fixes it. Thanks for the help.

This is what it was.

The previous owner used a Del Sol as a doner car for my car, ergo, the steering knuckles were from an EK. Not an EG. So the Integra Knuckle is different. Thanks for the help guys.

So 94-01 Integra knuckles don't work on 92-95 Civics?

No, 94-01 Integra Steering Knuckles are the same as 92-95 Civic EX/Si Steering Knuckles. But are different than any other 92-95 Civic steering knuckles, all 96-00 Civic Steering Knuckles, and all Del Sol Steering Knuckles (Which are similar to 96-00 Civic Steering Knuckles)

This is what I've come to learn. I cannot say that this information is 100% true. If someone knows something different please correct me.

Just so you know since everybody else on here either does not know and want to talk crap or just does not know what ever steering knuckles you decide to swap u must use the upper and.lower control arms I do mean both because each honda car is set up with different wheel base all civic are not as wide as integra none nada so of u Put civic knuckle on integra I'll have posotove camber If u use integra knuckles on a civic it will give u a -4 camber wich is were the top of tire leans in 4degrees wich is good but If u use the control arms ment for that knuckle it will get u back to straight and unless ur racing it with 500 hp you never have to sortie much about wich way the caster is

Interesting.... We are running an EK9 on tarmac Oval and really need 2-3 Deg neg camber on the outside wheel, but can only use "stock" parts... So there must be a "stock" Honda Knuckle that would do this...?
Any ideas????

Wrong. 92-95 Civics and Integras may have the same steering knuckle but dimensions of their wheel bearing is different, the inner diameter of the Civics seems to be larger than that of Integra.
