hey there,
My friend had a y8 in her 98 Honda civic si but it blew a head gasket and warped the head and block so she picked up a y7 and got it put in but put the y8 manifold on, when trying to run the y7 ecu it idles really low and is throwing CEL code 14 which I believe (from research) is IACV, now I know non-vtec cars have a 3 plug iac but her mani has a 2 plug do I repin the ecu side or do I find a non-vtec iac and plug and wire it up, also do I need to change any of the distributor wiring I was told y7 dizzys use different plugs than the y8s

You'll have to get the 3 wire IACV throttle body and wire that sensor into the harness and ecu.

Awesome thank you very much ! I got a y7 tb I'm gonna put that on and jb weld the y8 Iavc holes
