I got a Competion Clutch stage 4 installed on my integra yesterday and it drove fine to my house from the shop that did it, but today when I backed up from my garage the whole car was shakin like crazy, my motor felt like it was gonna fall off. I called the shop and they said that that was completetly normal and that it would do that specially if the car was cold. Anyone outthere have the same clutch and does it do the same thing??? Please help!!!

im wondering the same thing i have a act 6 puck(type r tranny) on my 00 si and my car shakes like that too not as bad when its warm

lol your from Norwalk? Thats funny, im from around there too.

Anyways, this is pretty common thing, just get used to it. Stage 4 is pretty harsh and an Act 6 puck is defiantley harsh.

had the same problem with my act stg 3....major chatter when backing up and at slow speeds

You did good most people cant even start off with a comp. clutch with out stalling the engine. I guess no one told you that its not really for a daily driver. Get use to it, and try not to park on a hill where you have to back up it might take you a while.

seeing as how your competition clutch is not meant for daily driving it does not have the
springs in the middle of the clutch disc (i am assuming this) therefore the clutch engagement will
be much rougher than a stock one. not only this but the disc is probably made of a
material that is meant for higher grip/durability and the pressure plate probably
has a much higher clamping load too. put all these together and you have a
clutch kit that is difficult to daily drive, hence the reason all the noises persist.
