Cometic headgasket reuse question?
I have a freshly built H22A engine with a cometic headgasket. The head bolts have been torqued down but now I want to do some port polishing so Im wanting to take the head off. Can the gasket be reused?

Thats why I asked, the gasket is quite pricey to just throw away if the gasket blows then its no biggy i'll just have a spare to hand but just wanted to see if anyone has tried this and whether it became the weak point of the engine build?
the engine has not been started at all since the gasket was fitted. Its not even in the car. Can I re-use it then retorque a couple of ft lbs more?

it sucks man but they're not reusable you could copper spray her ever so lightly but the crush zones have already been depressed use at own risk...
