civic problems
I am looking for suggestions. I recently changed the timing belt, waterpump and tensioner on my 93 dx with b18b swap. As soon as i did everything and started it, it started up just fine. The car is at a friends shop for paint and body work and i have been going by and working on everything mechanical while we are prepping the body but after about a week i went to try it again and it cranks fine but it doesn't sound like it is getting fire. That is why i originally changed the belt water pump and tensioner in the first place. I am at a loss of why it would start fine and then after about a week of sitting not start and sound like its out of time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: civic problems
You need to check all aspects needed for combustion to occur first. Check that all the plugs are getting a good strong spark, that all the injectors are feeding sufficient fuel to each cylinder, and that each cylinder has sufficient compression. Could be a fuel pump or relay intermittently working, ignition coil, cam sensor, or other ignition components. After finding out whether fuel, ignition, and compression are all within spec will help narrow down the cause. If all are working properly, then recheck timing belt/ valve timing.
