CEL P1300 and P1399, P0301 and P0303
I think the 1300 and 1399 are random missfire codes, but i change my plugs, and even swapped out my dizzy, could it be my ecu is bad, or even a bad crankshaft position sensor? P0301 and P0303 are cylinder 1 and 3 missfires, would those give me the 1300 and 1399 codes also?

Usually you will get 1300 and 1399, when using a generic obd2 scan tool, you would get a different set with a manufacture specific scantool, like honda's HDS

their can be a few problems why a miss fire will code up. (1) tight valve (2) blown head gasket (ie ) coolant in the combustion chamber. have you done a compression test? does the engine have a miss in these cylinders ? please post as much info as possiable.

even if their is a blown head gasket it will run fine with the random miss fire code. what may be happening is when the car is cold and first started the coolant could and may be in the combustion chamber and for a fec sec's it will store the dtc for a random miss fire but then when the coolant is burned out it seems normal. the best way is to do a hc test.their is some other ways if it is real bad but it sounds like the start of the problem.

a 4 gas analizer will check for hydrocarbons in the cooling system. smog shops have them and maybe a regular automotive shop.
