Can someone please help me with radiator fan wiring?
Hey guys, unfortunately my knowledge when it comes to cars doesn't really extend past bolt-ons. I just bought a '91 CRX, and it came without a radiator fan, so I bought a radiator fan. The only problem is I have no idea how to hook it up.
I assume there's supposed to be some sort of connector, and the previous owner took it out. I live in the city so a fan is absolutely mandatory. Here are some pictures of my engine bay (potential wiring points?) and the fan I bought.
Here's an imgur album.
Can someone please explain (in layman's terms) how to hook this thing up? I have a feeling it's going to involve cutting wires/soldering and that's a little over my head so I would really appreciate any advice. I'd like to have the fan function normally, but do I need to wire it to a switch instead? Where? Help.

Rad fan power lead should be a blue/black, [12V+ from rad fan relay].
If your in a pinch you can always wire fan "direct", run a fused lead to #30 of a SPST or SPDT relay, connect #85 of relay to ground, connect #86 of relay to a 12V+ switched source, [hot when ign. switch is on] connect #87 of relay to fan and ground the fan to a chasis ground point.
Without knowing the fans polarity, I can not thell you if power goes to the red lead or the black lead, you will have to try both to get the fan to run in the right direction, pulling if on back of rad and pushing if on front of rad. 94

I ended up grounding to the battery, powering from the battery, and wiring the switch into the harness behind my receiver, worked like a charm.
