can i put on ONE new tire on my car?
my tire blew out last nigt. i have 215-45-17 tires. i was forced off the highway a little, and my rear tire blew out. the two tires in the rear were already different brand tires. I can not afford two new tires now.
I can try to get a used tire, which whould not put my car way off balance. or I could buy ONE new tire. I was wondering if this would be advised, because haveing one new tire may throw the car off balance.
what do you think i should do? buy the new one or try to find a used one?

Should be ok, since it'll be in the back and your car is FWD.
If your car was RWD I wouldn't recommend it, since the tyre will be a slightly different size than the other side and the differential would be working all the time.

i was driving normally for about 7 miles on the highway and did not notice that my tire was blown out. does this normally cause the rim to be bent? i do not notice any damage to the rim, but i was wondering if more than likely, my rim will be bent?
