Brown plug on a OBD1 gsr starter, i pull it off, will it still work?
i was trying to remove my starter and it came apart off the starter alittle bit so i just pushed it back in, will it still work or did i broke it?

Should be 2 wires, one big cable, and one small wire, small wire is the signal wire.
It depends, if the wire isnt contacting the terminal on the starter, then no the car wont start

The brown part is just the locking piece, the metal contact (female) that is crimped onto the actual wire should still be intact, as mentioned, this is the signal wire from the ignition switch to actuate the starter solenoid. Give it a go. Later, if it dont start, then maybe this wire fell off, if it fell off and shorted out while you were turning the key, then you may blow a fuse, so figure out which fuse to check now.
