Default Breaking in oxygen sensor?

When i got my Greddy A/F gauge it mentioned doing runs up to 100mph in order to heat up the 02 to break it in. Well the supplied O2 broke and now i'm ordering a new one. My question is do I need to break in the new O2s (NTK/NGK) or what? And if not anyone have a clue as to why you have to break in the Greddy 02

The o2 sensor is internally heated.. You can heat it up really hot even if its not in the car..

Yeah, I've never heard of having to "break in" an O2 sensor. Get them up to operating temperature, sure - but you don't have to do 100 to do that.

Just sitting still idleing will heat up the o2 sensor enough since its internally heated.. Trust me I know, When I got my wideband sensor I had it hooked up on my table and for some odd reason had a brain fart, thinking that if I blew into it, it would change the a/f ratio on the meter.. Needless to say I burned the **** out of my lip as you could imagine..
