Question about carbon fiber vinyl
I'm thinking about refinishing the window/door trim on my Honda where the black rubber coating has flaked off and shows the aluminum underneath.
I was going to order new trim pieces but figured since this is pretty much cosmetic and the trims can be reused I could make a project out of this by applying CF vinyl over them to add some pimpness to my car. I don't want to overdo the CF look but just want to add some tasteful accent.
My question is what is the best CF vinyl to get. I went on Ebay and see that price ranges from $40-up to around $10. The DI-NOC(?) stuff seems to be the most expensive but there are some 3-D vinyls that are UV-protected, weather-resistent, and essentially have a 9-year outdoor lifespan. I contacted the sellers but get no reply.
I really do not want to spend over $20 when it looks like the $10 stuff will do. Yet I also want something that will look good and last, so I'm willing to spend more if quality means I have to pay more. Are all vinyl sheets made the same?

Re: Question about carbon fiber vinyl
That 3M DI-NOC claims to have a 4 yr outdoor warranty. They actually sell an adhesive prep, or something that they use with the DI-NOC for wrapping cars. At least that's what it said in the auction.
