i want it connected to a switch in my car i guess ill take the fuse option sence you are saying its the best and i tested the fan already by connecting the 1 wire from the fan to the postive battery post and the other wire to the negetive and they work

Why not just remove the plug from the fan thermoswitch (located on the thermostat housing) and run a switch in between the two pins?
The power source is a switched source and the fan won't stay on without the ignition keyed on, and you won't be calling yourself a dumbass for having to buy a new battery. The converse of that however is that you forget to turn it on.....then you're hosed.
Really, the best option is to use the engine control to control the fan's on/off thresholds. That way you don't even have to think about it.

Re: any one know how to wire a toggle switch to a radiator fan?
since he said the wiring is all hacked up he would have to do the temp swicth diagram i put up to put it near oem and just reuse the thermo swicth

Re: any one know how to wire a toggle switch to a radiator fan?
why all these swicthes
i would have done the temp swicth instead of the swicth
anyways u have a wire in there for the ac to kick on if u can source it
or u can just put a relay and run both fans off the same swicth

Re: any one know how to wire a toggle switch to a radiator fan?
so i figured i will put the ac fan to work instead of just having it sit there lol,but yea i will put them on a relay and run them off the same switch.it seems better to do that. thanks for the help man
