Default AC power issue 00'si b16 w/JDM dash harness

Brand new to forums so I apologize in advance if I am posting in the wrong place. Also I know nothing about cars but decided I would start doing my own work on my vehicle. Seems I'm pretty handy given I have no experience.

So I installed, vacuumed, charged AC system. But I have no power to my fan and compressor. To check if the compressor and fan were still in working condition I jumped it to the battery and everything works. Blowing ice cold air! Problem is I rigged a switch and ran it into the cabin so I can manually control it for now ( I live in AZ) way to hot not to AC. But problem with the switch it doesn't tell my ECU to adjust rpm and I have a low idle. I checked power coming from the harness and there isn't any.. And when it comes to the harness I have no clue what I need to look for or where I need to look or what I need to do to get power to that connector. Any help would be awesome and much appreciated!

There is a pressure switch in the Ac system that won't turn on the fans or compressor if pressure is too low. If there is refrigerant and it blows cold with the compressor and fans hotwired on, then that switch is likely at fault.

Thanks for replying! I am going to do some research and figure out where the pressure switch is, check it, then get back to you with what I find out. Again, thanks for your help! 👍🏼

A/C "request" is a complicated wiring "maze" request, [A/C on] is a ground from the A/C switch, [the only powers will be from the clutch relay and rad and condensor fan relays, everthing else is a ground] , through the A/C pressure switch, through the A/C thermostat to the ECU/ECM, the ECU/ECM then sends a ground to the A/C compressor clutch relay, the ground is also split off the A/C thermostat and goes to the A/C Diode that controls the rad and consdensor fans.

Warning, bypassing the system to turn on the compressor will not "cycle" the compressor and will lead to damage, the evaporator can freeze up and caus a restriction leading to high head pressure and a damaged compressor or blown lines, condensor, and/or evaporator, so stop using the A/C untill fixed.

Question, why are you using a JDM dash harness????

I will have to look up the 00 Civic SI, [if that is your car] amd get wire colors. although that may not help with the JDM dash harness. 94

Well I purchased this vehicle (98lx civic with a B16 swap) with an JDM wiring harness already wired and tucked. So I figured I would just leave it. And three nights ago I was using AC and either a line or my condensor blew. Haven't had time to get to it yet. Tonight I have off of work and am installing my hasport motor mounts, and checking the AC system. I disconnected the switch and have not used the AC since. I really appreciate your reply. I'll update you more tonight.
