2004 Honda Civic - Squealing Sounds at a cold start up
When I start up my car, sometimes it will make this noise. It squeals like this until I hit the gas and it does not squeal when driving or when I turn the wheel. I'm guessing its a belt, but which one could it be? And if its not a belt-what could it be? Any help would be appreciated.
I attached a short video of it:
At first I thought it could be alternator belt but my records say that at 118, 923 KM my alternator and both belts (PS Pump belt and alt belt) were replaced.
Any insight? Thanks for the help guys.

sounds like a belt. if it would do it a little longer or if you had a little longer video maybe under the hood it would be a little easier to tell

Yeah, that is what I was thinking too..
Tomorrow I will try to take a longer video. it's a little tricky because it doesn't make the sound each time. But I will do it when it's cold in the morning and hopefully it might happen.
I am hoping it isn't timing belt. That would be an expensive repair. ):

yeah hopefully not. ive never heard a belt squeal with that high of a pitch but it still sounds like a belt to me. kinda hard to tell tho.

Over time belts stretch and need to be tightened. This is such a case. As a car warms up the belt will heat up and stop squealing.
