I've got a 1998 cx which has developed a random misfire. It began on the highway around 75mph. Under light load, it would stumble slightly for just a split second. It did this about 5 times in a 50 mile commute.

The car sat for 12 hours while I was at work. When I started it up, it had a violent idle and the check engine started flashing. The codes were each individual cylinder misfire, O2 sensor circuit too high, and random/multiple cylinder misfire. I limped it around to the back of my store and let it warm up. After I cut it off and turned it back on it ran fine except for a slight stumble every so often at idle.

On my 50 mile commute home, it would stumble under light throttle every so often but under moderate to full throttle it ran perfect. At idle, if I kept the rpms around 1000, there was no stumble present.

Plugs, wires, distributor are all new. I've read through at least fifty threads trying to find help but nothing close enough so far. Thanks in advance for your help and input.
