Default Use Honda Super Hi Temp Urea Grease on brake pads, is it ok?

Hi!

I have just bought some Honda Super Hi Temp Urea Grease to apply on the clutch spline when I replace the clutch on my Accord.

Is this grease ok to apply to the back of the brake pads?

I would not recommend the urea grease. The brake pads can get quite hot. I don't kow if the urea grease can handle the heat from the pads. Most auto parts stores sell small packets of anti-squeal compound for the back of the pads. That should be fairly easy to find.

Autozone usually has a small packet for $1 behind the counter if you ask. It is usually only enough to do 4 pads (2 wheels), so 2 packets for the whole car.

No, instead get honda m-77 assembly paste at your local honda dealership. if not, your alternative is molykote m77. you can get it online for about $10-$15.
