Default Suspension Gap and Shock Travel problem (Pics)

My suspension setup is KYB AGX with Ground Control Coil-over.

Problem 1: Gap between Urethane Top and Top Hat
Problem 2: When install, Gap will Close but shock will lose Shock Travel.

How can i maintain Shock Travel and close gap?

The thing is, i want to adjust height with the shock at its highest point because KYB AGX cant handle over 1.5 inch of drop.

Any solution? corrections? Thank HT

Lemme guess, you don't even have them installed. That's normal. YOu are ware that these springs are SHORTER than regular springs? Install them and THEN come back and report a problem. If it bothers you THAT much then find a set of tender/helper springs to close the gap.

yes i am aware that these springs are shorter. i want to avoid the gap problem BEFORE I install. and if i use the helper springs, besides closing the gap, how will it effect the suspension vs. without using helper springs.

You are WAY overthinking this...

that gap is normal when using sleeve coilovers. Your using springs that are a quite a bit shorter then the stock springs, and what that shock was designed around using... That is why the gap is there.

Helper springs will close the gap, but I highly highly doubt they will keep you from loosing shock travel.

helper springs won't do anything for shock travel. it'll just keep your spring from moving around when you are at full droop.

what you need are extended top mounts (top hats) that will help in your shock travel and close the cap a little. get them custom made, buy from ebay, or from GC.
