Okay, we just got a big snow the other week and ever since I drove my 99 si home in it, my car has had this off and on jerking of the steering. It only seems to do it when slowing or off throttle, and jerks toward the pass side. Feels like someone is sitting there and jerking the steering wheel over and over. Also it comes and goes, sometimes it wont do it at all for awhile, but then it can be so severe that you have to hold on or will go off road. Wtf could cause this. I had it to a local shop and they couldnt figure it out either. Could a bad axle/cv joint cause this? Or the steering rack? It comes and goes and eveything under car looks fine, nothing visual to go off of. Anyone experience something like this and may know what is up let me know. Thanks.

So u mean the axle went bad? And just replaced it? Thanks. Did his problem come and go, like mine?

yea i ment bad typo lol
it would happen once in a while then eventually it kept doing it. so i replaced the axles for him the problem was gone.
when i looked at his old axles there was a tiny pin hole on the cv boot so all the grease came out
turning the cv joint you can feel it was messed up inside it didnt move around smoothly.
