Default Spoon Caliper Issue - Brakes stuck ?

So I purchased some used spoon calipers and installed them on my dc2.

I tried to roll my car out of the garage and the brakes feel like they are on.

The ebrake is down and I have narrowed it to the front driver rotor/caliper.

I took the calipers off the rotor & it spins freely... but when I have the caliper on the rotor tightened all the way, I can not spin the hub.

What is wrong ?

I do have some duralast pads on them which are probably not the best but still, I dont think they are causing the issue.

Any help is appreciated !

stuck piston? did you get the spacers with the calipers? They just look like washers.

I'm not sure if that is the problem or not.

I took the calipers off and compressed the pistons and slid the brake pads back in...

When I tighten the bolts ( ones that came w/ the calipers ) the hub will not spin.

I am doing bolt, hub, washer, then screwing it in the caliper ... ( I have tried it both ways..... bolt, washer, hub, caliper )

here are some pictures !

Does this effect anything on my brake pad ( on the back side of it )?

If the caliper piston is sitting on that rivet holding on the anti sqeel pad then that is your problem! it will also **** the piston everytime you step on the brakes. it must sit flat against the pad. Not all pads work well with spooms.

try putting the calipers on without the apd in see if it spins the bolt that hold the calipers on could be making contact with the rotor thats the problem i had with mine

Figured out the problem was the spacer I was using - I went with slightly a bigger one and it fixed it !

Yup, i had a feeling it would be spacer/washer issue (instruction manual tells you what side to put them on as well depending if you're using the 32mm or the 36mm axle).

you may want to grind that little nub down as flat as possible. i had to do that with the OEM pads i ran before. now i'm using the Project Mu B-force for street and the Max500 for track. they slide right in without those nubs.
