Default shorter steering knuckles for 92-95 civic

Are there any shortened aftermarket steering knuckles available out there for a 93 2dr dx? I’m tired of using those adjustable ball joint things.

To compensate for the jacked up camber caused by lowering the civic. With a shorter steering knuckle it would fix the camber without having to use those lame ball joint adjusters

Oh yeah? What would you recommend for fixing the screwed up camber and still having enough clearance so that the upper ball joint doesn’t punch through the body on hard bumps?

If your camber is "screwed up" replace the bent parts.

If your camber is simply more negative than stock, thats a good thing. Better fender clearance, lower RC, better cornering traction, whats not to like?

If you really don't like gaining camber during suspension bump, maybe you should be driving a car with a strut based suspension.

However, if you want to insist on running a camber kit while dumping the car to the ground, you should look through this thread.

To avoid this:

You only need to do this:

why it lowers the car and doesnt add any camber i mean you literally put your car on the ground with these top hats and coilovers. that wouls be a total of 5 1/2 " you could lower your car. Yeah it would be dumn to go that low but at 3 or 4 you would still have a ton of suspension travel

What do you mean "why"? You just answered yourself right there.

The entire point of having an unequal length double wishbone suspension is to gain negative camber under compression travel.

Your simplistic thinking is amusing. It's not quite as straightforward as you're assuming it is.

There's a reason that Ryane was the only developer of such a product, and also a reason why nobody ever bought them. Can you guess what it is?

I can.

But then again, I'm so insane, I'm trying to locate a shop that is willing to bend my knuckles for more camber...

It will be way cheaper and safer to get a camber kit man.

So when someone reveals the truth to you that your preconceived notions are wrong and you just don't want to hear it, that means they're a "dick"?

Amazing.

I think my doctor must be a dick, because he keeps telling me that my cholesterol is too high, but I don't want to hear that.
