Rear Spring Stiffer/Harder than Front Spring?
BTW this was for Touring/ Road Race aplication
Has anybody tried harder/ stiffer spring in the rear than the front (in.example front 14kg/mm , rear 16kg/mm) ?
My car was 4 door civic Si. Now im running 14kg for both front and rear suspension. Im planning to stiffen the rear suspension a little bit to create some more oversteer effect, but the rules doesnt allow to change the anti-roll-bar size. And my "cusco zero2" has already set to the stiffest rate on the rear. So im thinking to put stiffer springs rate at the rear suspension , it was going to be 16kg/mm.
Is this way reasonable? anybody ever try this (stiffer rear springs than front) ?

Read any number of threads several of which are current and generally you will find a stiffer rear spring quite prevalent on more aggressive and track specific cars. For street use where a livable ride quality is more important than the very edge of oversteer, a lower or even rear rate is more common and easier to live with. A controlled track situation give you more room and fewer surprises (traffic, kids and animals, bad roads and weather, etc.) so you can afford to have a more aggressive and cutting edge system than you can afford to on the street.
