Default Help me pick a setup

Hows it going guys. This is my first post under this name, I was on HT like 6 years ago but cant remember what my screen name was or what email I had at the time.

So lets get to it. I'm picking up a 4 door GSR next week and want to start with a suspension set up that will let me enjoy the wonderful Glendora Mountain Road (gmr) again. I wont be doing any autocross or anything like that, just some fun (but very aggressive) driving when I can find the time in my busy life.

I've been reading a lot about the GC/Koni setup, and I'd like to get a little more input on how this combo performs. I don't mind sacrificing a bit of granny comfort for handling, and actually kind of like a bit of a stiffer ride (to an extent). If not this setup I'm all ears.

Thanks in advance guys, I cant wait to get behind the wheel of a H car again!

Default Re: Help me pick a setup

For what you are describing, Koni/GC with custom spring rates seems like a perfect setup.

I'd run something like 450f/450r spring rates. Still comfortable enough to be a daily driver, but more than capable to handle GMR. An upgraded rear sway bar will really help as well.

I have Koni/GC on my Accord, and absolutely love it. Best sub-$1000 setup around.
