Default Progress Competition Coilovers (1 or 2) for 92-95 Civic | Tein HA Questions.

Hey whats up bros and gals,

I've been curious about both setups for a 92-95 Civic.

Looking for more handling then DD.

My current setup:
-KYB AGX shocks (all corners)
-Eibach Sportlines

Car specs:
- 188,000+ miles
- Fully aligned
- Replaced Inner and outer tie rods
- Using good condition front LCAs from 94-01 Integra GSR
- Using good condition rear LCAs from 94-01 Integra GSR
- Have NOT replaced trailing arm bushings for rear (going with Disc setup in future)

Note:
- Car still seems to have loose steering and almost not knowing where the car will go over the smallest of bumps (AKA, 110 fwy near LA, or 110 fwy going south toward San pedro)
- Runs smooth over smooth roads, but so bounch and car is unpredictable.
- Also, I have ran Koni/GC coilover setup in the past, but I want something in the full coilover form.

What I want is some good coilovers, I have been contemplating on a set of Tein HA (good reviews) but I had a quick question reguarding Progress Competition Coilovers (series I or II).

I have looked at Progressauto.com and it does not give too much information about the Competition Coilovers except that they are fully rebuildable and offer 1-2.5" adjustment (which is fine for me). However, I am a bit confused about the Series I or II.

The series I is the original competition series coilover that is fully rebuildable and has built in threads on the damper itself. The price is a good $1000+ from multiple website.

The series II however is based on the series I but the actual threaded dampers have been replaced with a coilover sleeve but uses the same dampers.

Both sets, are rated up to 1000lb.

Although, is there anyone out there who can shed some light on how these things were for track use, daily use, and maintenance on them?

I am curious to what other people are going to say.

PS Keep your flames out, information post only.

In for some answers too. It doesn't look like the series II's can be rebuilt according to their site...but I could be wrong.

Sort of leaning towards the Series I Time Attacks since this will be more of a track only car, but the $470-390(w/ optional rates) price difference of the Series II is appealing since it won't be track'd often.

Series II can't be rebuild (hence the low price). I am looking for reviews of people who might have had the setup.

Progress is a very reputable company, however not many people use their products as widely as these cheap taiwanese coilovers out there on the boards.
