anyone have issues with Hard Race Trailing Arm Bushings?
Tried to install a set of hard rubber Hard Race bushings for my 94 integra.. but I couldn't get them in! every time I tried to press them in, they started going on crooked. I reset it 5-7 times and even tried lightly hammering around the outside to seat them.. but once I started going at it with the press they always manage to twist and start going in crooked.
I pulled them out, and the the side of the bushing that goes into the TA first ended up being deformed... its no longer a circle. I have a feeling these bushings are a bit too fat for the trailing arm or something, or perhaps that don't have a taper. I don't know. the stock bushing got pushed in just fine when I reinstalled it.
I think I'll go order some OEM TA bushings and try again with those. has anyone else had issues with the hard race TA bushings?

Are you using a press? I just got some in for my trailing arms this weekend. Use a big socket like a 30mm and make sure its centered. After about 15 minutes of realigning, recentering, etc they go in.

Yeah, I used the TA extractor tool to push em back in.. but they never wanted to get in straight. after a while I noticed the other end was out of round so I just said F-it and put the original crappy one in there. I'll probably order the honda ones and try again later.

Re: (spets)
i just used a razor and shaved a thin slice off the bushing, used alot of energy suspension lube, centered the bushing in, and put some weight on it with my foot.

I took mine to a belt sander to take about 0.020" off the total diameter, and now they fit fine. However, I changed my suspension a few weeks later, and took the TA bushings out again. If interested, you can buy mine off of me.
