Lowering Springs on my EM2

Lowering Springs on my EM2
Hey I just got a set of lowering springs for my 03 civic LX and I'm wondering, do I need to get a camber kit for it as well or would I be fine with just putting them on with the stock struts. Also do I need to upgrade the struts? I think it's a 1.5" front and back.
Thanks
Thanks

Just be aware just having lowering springs actually won't give you really great handling because the stock shocks don't match the new spring rate. It does give you a better center of gravity though and looks better.

Re: Lowering Springs on my EM2
EM2's are good looking cars imo. The stock body looks great lowered. I actually think the EM2 was the best looking civic(in my opinion). Too bad Honda didn't give it a DOHC i-vtec.

Yea it is, I just ordered a mug style front lip, and a honeycomb grill. Me and my dad both have EM2's except his has the vtec and mine doesn't.
I had a 98 dx hatch before that, it died at 420000 km though :'(

From my experience, the EM2 doesn't like somebody bothering with their springs and suspension. So be aware of star hearing some suspension noises...

Noise means suspension parts having metal to metal contact and other not good things.
From my experience with my 2001 after lowering suspension start getting noisy every couple of months and I have to "retight" everything again.
But do your research here. Maybe others have another opinion or I was missing something.
The fact is: 7th gens have different McPherson suspension setups than previous models.
Don't go with crap parts. Buy something with quality, specially for a dayly driven car.
And a good suspension does not mean lower your car.

I actually already picked up a set of springs off a guy, not sure what he said the brand was, front spring is red back spring is black If that helps determine it aha.
Also I'm not sure on the drop he said basically it the tires will be almost flush with the fender.

I don't mind running a little bit of camber, I just don't want to be wearing through tires like no tomorrow. Thanks for the help guys.

Re: Lowering Springs on my EM2
I'm away at school right now and my dad picked up the springs for me. They came off an 02 em2. So I don't know what the brand is as I have not seen them, cause I'm not there atm. He just briefly described them to me.
