i need to lower my coilovers but i dont have the coilover tool.

Default i need to lower my coilovers but i dont have the coilover tool.

i don't have the coilover tool because when i bought it, i was supposed to get the tool from the guy later but i lost his number. soooo i want to lower my car more, how can i do it? can i buy a tool to do it? or can i do it a different way? thanks

With the car on jack-stands, take a metal stake (or blunt punch), and hammer in into a notch in the lower locking-nut on the side that will make it loosen (should be the left side). Once it breaks loose of the lower spring perch, thread it down & out of the way. Now adjust ride height by spinning the upper perch whichever way you need to. Once you get the height set, spin the locking-nut up until it jams against the spring perch. Now take your stake, and hammer the locking nut so it will tighten against the spring perch. Finally, make sure the locking-nut is nice & tight...
