Default EG progress II coilovers on an EF?

I found some progress II full coilovers for EG/DC chassis, but I need them for an EF. Will these fit an EF hatch? will i have to modify anything, will i not be able to drop the car as far, etc?

thanks

Not sure what the "progress 2" coilovers are but if they're a full coilover kit like you say then what "KingVem^^ed6" said is what you need to do. If it's just coilover springs then you can put them on EF shocks and still use your EF forks. I have EG coilover springs on my EF shocks that way and I personally like the set up for the price I got them. The spring rate for a EG is alittle more stiff than EF's are. As far as tire tuck, it just all depends on how low your coilovers can go and what rim size you're ridding on.

I would worry less about "tire tuck" and worry more about having enough suspension travel.

I wasn't aware that I ever said that, bro.

And I'm sorry that you believe stance is everything, thats a rather poor theory. If I wanted madd tyte jdm stance I would just cut my springs. I am looking for form and function, on a budget. Thank you for your worthless post.

Progress CSIIs have an optimal height that they should be adjusted to. GO ahead and slam it but don't come back later saying they are crap because the shocks blew or the ride quality was shitty.

Thank you for your opinion, but you still have not provided any valuable information that pertains to my original post.

Are you friggin' kidding me? The very first link says that you can use the EG forks or you can chose NOT to. Your choice.

But i want to know if the fact that eg shocks are longer leads to the problem of maxing out the coilovers just to lower the car to stock EF height.

How many posts like this one do you need to read?

next time buy suspension thats made for your car
And if you went to the Progress site you would have found out that the kit uses a shorter shock body.

Half of the info I found showed that EG suspension makes the ef sit much higher, while the other half showed no problems in how low you can go. I wanted to know the case for this specific brand.

How many posts like that do i need to read? while we are asking redundant questions, are your parents related?

Maybe reading comprehension isn't stressed in schools anymore but I've read at least two dozen different threads and none of them seem to be conflicting.

Due to all the pain and suffering this seems to be causing, I'm just going to get ef f2's.

But wait! I have so many quotes. All saying the same things!

And I'm sure if you researched you would have read this. WITH PICTURES no less!

"The DA shock, for instance, is about 1.5" longer than the stock EF shock. Just for the record, this height difference is ABOVE the perch. That means that your car will be the same height regardless of what shock you run."

So you ask how I know this... I have and run EG stuff on my EF.

Not sure on the rears though.
