DA Front Knuckles/EF (Brake Upgrade)
Well the local junkyard will be having a half off sale this weekend. Have been pondering this for sometime, and was wondering if its worth swapping to DA knuckles to get the 10.3 front brakes. It should total somwhere between $200-300 to upgrade the entire front. Is it really worth it for a daily driver. I know about the knuckles being a little taller but my car will not be to low. I also know about the other upgrades such as milled itr calipers and 11 inch rotors or the fastbrakes adapter or kits. Any advice, especially actual people who've done the swap will be appreciated.

Best bet is to price it out and compare especially using Brake Experts sticky.
IMO there are plenty of options to upgrade. Master cylinders, braided lines, pads, rotors, rear disc if you don't have already.

DA knuckles
ITR calipers + brackets
07 Mini Cooper 280mm rotors
ITR pads, pick the compund that gives you the bite/feel you want
You can also use 90-91 Civic EX knuckles, but they are much more rare.

Re: DA Front Knuckles/EF (Brake Upgrade)
Everyone skipped over an important part of OP's question:
Not really, IMO. Good pads, fresh rotors & fluid, brand new lines of your choice and you'll be good to go. Also, tires are the most important brake component. If you're running on some $40 a piece all seasons none of it matters.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but are the DA knuckles not taller than the EF ones (or something)? I remember helping a friend put a set on his '89, probably fifteen years ago, and the geometry was visibly whacked out. It's obviously possible that he had some bent junk parts, but they were pretty even. Just wayyy out on camber and caster.

There is another upgrade that you can do, using the stock dx knuckles. 03 CL calipers+brackets, mini cooper rotors. Everything ive heard says it should be a bolt on affair

Steering arm looks to be very different on those two. Also, maybe it's an illusion, but the one on top sure looks a little taller. Close is not enough on things like these, IMO.
