Default cv axle removal.

Hi,
I'm trying to remove the cv axle from the driver side.I'm not sure know how to remove the cv axle. theres two bolt holding the axle just below the oil filter . I'm not sure if that needs to be remove.
The reason why I'm replacing the axle is that the boot ripped and is making that clicking sound , booth turning and driving straight.
Any link to the "how to" would be awesome. I tried google but nothing comes up.

by the way the car s a 1998 honda crv.

2 bolts are holding the half shaft I believe and don't need to be removed. I believe the front suspension on a crv is very similar to civics and integras, so if you find a walk through on how to change an axle on a civic or integra with a b series it should be very similar.

there should be a diy in the faqs, check there first, if not google

You don't need to remove those bolts unless you are trying to also pull the intermediate shaft. Sometimes the CV axle will be on there pretty good though, use a dead blow or brass hammer to try and knock it loose.
