car accident - right rear suspension damage, fix or move on?
I was in a car accident last night where a Legacy nailed my right rear quarter panel, bending a wheel, and from what I can see, bending my upper control arm. I can't tell if my struts are damaged (koni's, not even a week old!), the shaft looks bent, but my eyes could be playing tricks on me... I had it low enough to where I probably wasn't getting any suspension travel (it was a temporary thing for a meet coming up), so the shaft should've been out of harm's way.
What else should I inspect? Is it as simple as replacing the upper control arm? Did my suspension just lose all its integrity on that side? I need to know if from a suspension standpoint it's worth fixing or if I should move on... I'm only on liability with this car so the cost plays a part.
thanks guys
PS - if anyone has any insight, what else should I look for on the body / frame, it looks like it needs a new QP (cost to replace?) but I think because my wheel was hit and the UCA took the force of the hit, nothing else was too severe... I could be wrong though.

i would inspect the trailing arm, and probally the lca if you havent already. sometimes it's very hard to tell if they are bent, by just looking at them. i had a friend who just smacked a curb extremely hard and his was bent . it sounds like your car can be fixed though. good luck.

well you need to check out the mounting points on the frame/body it is very hard to tell if you dont know what to look for just compare to the oposing side that would be a good starting point

I'm taking it to a body shop to get looked at... what they told me was that they'd look at the damage first, then either recommend I pay for the frame measurement or just say to replace the UCA.
