Brake rotors recommendation (94-01 gsr)
I have a gsr stock front brake kit running HP plus.
I need to upgrade my current rotors and I track 1-2 a year and auto cross a bit. I'm making a new post because recently I've seen new J vents on rotors. I was told they're better than the current slotted and drilled rotors. Does anyone have a recommendation for rotors? I'm pretty much staying away from drilled rotors because most of the crack and I am not looking to spend a fortune on them (otherwise I would have upgraded to BBK)

What's wrong with Autozone Duralast blanks?
I use them on my daily driver / HPDE / auto-x Integra GSR without issue, though I do go ahead and change them with the pads (using HPS pads currently), even if they look fine, as cheap insurance.

nothing is wrong with them. I've never even heard of them. I just need some recommendations. Do i have to resurface brand new rotors?
are these it?

From what I have read, many road racers in Civics/Integras use the Duralast rotors without issue, other than more frequent rotor changes than more race oriented brands (but still more cost effective to change the cheaper ones more often).
New rotors do not need to be resurfaced, but you will want to properly bed the pads to them. I generally just rub them with brake cleaner on a rag, to remove any casting/machining fluid that might still be on them, install them, and immediately bed the pads.
