Default shocks for dd with lowering springs

Ok so i am looking to get some new shocks for my 98 civic lx. I am on lowering springs that settled to be about 1-2 finger gap all the way around with stock non-blown shocks and 185 65 14 tires. i was wondering what would be the best choice for my application. ONLY DD no track/drag/autox. i am looking into Koni Yellows, Tokico Illuminas, or kyb agx, but if you have another opinion let me know, and please explain why you choose. dont just give the name and say ftw. i want at least a simple explanation. Thanks
