Blackworks Coilovers problem/shake
After I got it installed I notice the tires shake side way. I check nuts/bolts and nothing loose. I even took it to the shop to check it out and the mechanic can't tell why it shake beside I had a bad outter tie-rod on the passenger side. I replaced both tie-rods and hope it'll solve the problem but it still shake. Could someone tell me the reason why it does that?
Thanks

Re: Blackworks Coilovers problem/shake
you HAD ebay coilovers installed at a shop...?
then you car shakes...?
facepalm.
If you can't install your own coilovers, and you're buying this kinda
stuff... maybe this hobby just isn't for you.
I would suggest you take your car back to this shop and have it returned
to stock. leave it be, and move onto something easier like collecting cards.

Re: Blackworks Coilovers problem/shake
maybe the coilovers has the problem itself. when i loose the lock from coilovers, i can feel the treads aren't tight with the body(black metal part) as i move it up or down. ... I wonder if the site would do refund if that's the problem with their product.
Thanks.

i had financial tight at that time and my car can't even take a turn w/o rubbing the front tires into the plastic guards undearneath. I did a little research on Blackworks and some dude recommended that's why i got them. Didn't know Blackworks gives me another problem T_T

Re: Blackworks Coilovers problem/shake
Hey now, I had my coilovers installed at a shop....the one I work at, by one of my techs.
There is obviously an issue to the OP. Get some pics so we can see if you might be TOO low and rubbing on some part of the car.
