AGX/GC vs KONI/GC comfort?
ive had both in the past and loved them both... agx felt more of a comfortable ride than the stiffer koni yellow but this was maybe like 9 years ago... what do u guys recommend for a daily em1 with 2 baby seats in there... i want the more comfortable ride since this car will never be tracked... the fender will sit right on the tire if that... i wont be tucking tires or anything just want a good comfortable ride that my babies wont get annoyed with... thanks in advance...

Vehicle: 1993 Honda civic Hatchback
Engine: Stock DX (D15b7)
I have AGX/GC with 350 front spring rate and 275 rear spring rate and 1-4 damper settings. 1 is softest and 4 is stiff. I set my front damper setting at 4 and rear damper settings at 2. Honestly, I love the front because it can handle bumps very comfortably. The rear is the problem because it gets pretty bouncy. I believe this is due to spring rate. 275 spring rate for the rear is too soft. DO NOT GET 275 SPRING RATE for rear shock if you get AGX/GC. Furthermore, AGX shock cannot handle over 1.5 inch drop. Some say it can, some says it cannot but i dont want to risk damaging neither my shocks or life. I dont know the correct way to measure ride height so i use "finger gap" method. My front has 1 finger gap and rear has 2 finger gap. Although the front is lower than the rear, the front handle better than rear. Again, i believe this is due to 275 rear spring rate. I never had Koni/GC so no opinion on that. Overall, I love the AGX/GC besides the 275 spring rate. I will be changing that soon. Good luck bro.

I've ridden in cars with both setups I wouldn't say they were any different. 275 on the rear is not much and shouldn't be bouncy, just stiffer than stock. The biggest difference you'll feel is a change of rates in the rear.

Re: AGX/GC vs KONI/GC comfort?
Some of us get motion sickness with overly soft or severely under damped suspensions. Some of us find excessive body roll uncomfortable. In both cases, the stiffer suspension, while allowing the occupants to "feel every single bump", would be more "comfortable".
Bottoming out the suspension is rarely considered comfortable by anyone, and is much more likely with a softer spring rate. Again, a situation in which the stiffer spring rates would be more comfortable.
This is also a rather dumb topic. The primary influence of comfort is spring rate, which is not given, followed by the shock's ability to correctly damp the springs. Chose the softest spring rates that will allow the desired level of lowering, and then chose the best shocks for those spring rates.
