98 Honda Odyssey Coilovers??????
I got a 98 honda odyssey now and are looking for coilovers for it. I've found that only 2 companies make shocks for the 95-98 odyssey: kyb (gr-2) and bilstein (b/hd)... I'm gonna go with the bilstein shocks but here's my question, does anyone know of any coilover that will fit an odyssey? b/c i can't find a set made for it but i know someone out there has put a set of coilovers on their odyssey... my best guess is a set of accord coilovers but idk yet. ANYONE????

Koni makes the red shocks for your Odyssey as well. Part numbers are 8040-1175L and 8040-1175R. The rear part number is 8040-1210. The rear are specific to the Odyssey but the fronts are from the 90-97 Sccord with a footnote that the Odyssey will be lowered 10mm on the front. this means that the Accord spring perch must be the same but is probably about 7 mm lower on the shock body than the Odyssey. The fronts are normally stocked items and the rears are a special Order normally nt stocked in the US but can be ordered from Europe. You should expect to pay about $90 each for the dmapers and they are the red painted Koni Special and are internally adjustable for rebound damping. To make a coil-over, one could easily put on a drop-on sleeve system like both Ground Control and Koni make.
Although the damper from an Accord coil-over kit might work, you would most likely not be able to use the spring on the Oddyssey because the rate would be on the soft side for the heavier mini-van. If you want to do coil-overs, my suggestion would be good shocks and a GC style coil-over set-up where you could select your own spring rates and ride heights as there are going to be few if any premade kits for it.
