FS: Del Sol discrete sub enclosure that replaces rear glove boxes
I had this sub box made at Super Autobacs, in Stanton (when they were in business).
I found a box that somebody made somewhere else on the internet and told Autobacs to do it better.
It has:
a Kicker CompV 10inch sub
an Alpine MRP-350 V-Power mono power amp
includes 8 guage power wire set
and RCA wires to the back of the stereo
plus a blue signal wire to turn the amp on when the key is turned.
You will have to take out the rear glove boxes behind the seats. The box fits perfectly in its place and with the black carpet looks like it could have been original equipment.
I sold my del sol and the buyer didnt want it so time to put it up here on HT.
Price starting at $395, obo, taking reasonable offers.

sound quality is excellent and will not affect the adjustment of your seats, its basically the same size of the rear glove box. at first i thought the bass was from the trunk but the sound was too clear and no rattling so i was surprised to find where it was actually coming from and how discrete it was.

Unless you specifically know about the rear locking boxes and look for them, you dont notice it at all.
Unfortunately it does weight about 30-40 pounds, but that weight is secured in the rear-middle of the car for the best sound quality and weight distribution.
Its removable and reusable, with staples and glue. It does have to screw into the chassis to hold it in place but when taken out the holes will never be noticed.

I am open to taking out the sub and amp and just selling the box and cover with the wires included also. More reassembly will be required because the sub is mounted face down in a sealed box of approximately 1 cubic foot of air. It would need to be taken apart from the base board.

To the top!
Nobody is interested in this? The cleanest install, best heard sub and enclosure you can get for a del sol!
I am willing to sell the box only or make me an offer to buy it all, trade offers will be taken too.

Anybody interested? Where are all the del sol owners at?
I would hate to break this thing apart and use only the sub and amp, at that point, someone would decide they really wanted it all.

Ya my bad, when I took it out, it was at night and pictures would have been very bad. It fills the whole area left by taking the rear boxes out, no gaps or anything.
Pretty firm buyer, just waiting for payment.
