i have a bunch of 8 gauge wire and 16 gauge wire..but i dont ahve any of the terminals to connect it to the amp...
i also dont have the fuse thing that every amp install kit includes

should i just get the terminals alone and then put it on the wire? what about the fuse? or should i just go with a amp kit?

if to go by amp kit..where would i buy one?

uh yeah you can just go buy the terminals at like napa auto parts and then crimp them on. (gotta have crimpers though, make sure you check for tight connection after crimping)

amp kits are handy cause they have all the gauge wire you need, and its the proper gauge (according to the wattage of the amp, the amp kit will be rated. 350watt amp kit, etc) you can get them at circuit city, best buy, etc. I believe Wal-Mart has the cheapest ones, and they arent too bad. never seen them though.

I never pay attention to the watts on the amp kit. I just go by the power cable gauge and the fuse size...

Don't buy the kit if you already have everything except fuse holder, the fuse itself and the terminals.

As far as ring terminals, any auto parts or hardware store has a good selection. Fuse holders can be purchased at Radio Shack or even WalMart.
