yo why can't you be content with the material I've provided here. Whats up with whoring my thread homie?

This is very irrelavant to what this thread is supposed to serve. I'm very good friends with the seller I know what I bought, and I'm not lying to anyone when I sell my car hell what the **** does that have to do with anything I'm going ot keep my car forever.

And where the **** are you getting money under the table bs from? I bought this swap for 3.6k homie because again I'm good friends with the seller, and I knew what I was buying when I bought it.

please stop whoring my thread with useless questions and assumptions. If you have a relavant question please ask with out hesitation, but don't ******* ***** my thread with bull ****.

Look I'm honestly providing important information regarding jdm motors and passing the state ref. tests. The question you asked about my motor and me selling my motor is totally irrelavant. Please don't argue with me this has nothing to do with what this thread is intended for.

And ofcourse I'm offended you made an ******* assumption when you said

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by cxSHOE &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

i guess some money was sent under the table to the engine seller so you could swap the 96 engine into your 2000 integra. (this is an assumption ofcoarse)

not flaming you do what you want bro.

hopefully when it comes time to sell your car and engine the truth will come out.. but i guess the truth is "here... look at the reciept"

</TD></TR></TABLE>

And I did read the part where you said you weren't flaming but I don't give a **** your offending me when you figure I'm going to try and ******* jew someone when I sell my ish.

Awesome Thread! Thanks for sharing this valuable information! I have a question though:

Does anyone know if there are any discernable differences between the 96 spec jdm itr shown and a 98-01 spec jdm itr? I was wondering if you have to change out more/less/same number of parts.

I am helping my brother convert to US spec for an OBDII emissions scan. TIA.

I don't believe converting a 98-01 spec will be any easier than a 96 spec.

the 96-97 ITR is the same pretty much as the 98-but the 98-is easier as it comes with a vtec solenoid with the vtec oil pressure also which the 96-97 does not. the 98-also has the crank sensor which the 96-97 does not. so pretty much if you get a 98-ITR motor it will go into any 96-OBDII car as it has all the sensors to match the usdm computer.

I need some help. I have a 2000 civic Lx and I bought a 2001 USDM integra GSR. The gsr ecu has the immobilzer in it. I don't want to remove the immoblizer. Can I buy an ignition switch from acura dealer and put that in the civic and have them reprogram the key? My major question is will the ignition switch of the gsr fit into the civic. Do you know if anyone know how to install it. Thanks

Cant everyone just use a usdm ITR ecu and do katmans ckf trick(tap into the CKP signal) and kenji's vtec pressure trick (taps into the solenoid signal) then all you need is the purge solenoid (drill and tap the JDM mani for a fitting)and to wire up the extra o2 sensor?? i know this will not pass in CA but will it pass in less strict states like CT, NJ or NY??

wow i shoulda done a write up too, but yeah, 2 Yrs ago i had to BAR/REF my 92 Hatch (95GSR)with a GSR. It's like going to a hardcore smog station. I would pass on the dyno but the visual I would fail. BUT i failed only once, He failed me for having a Ls Throttle Body, and Missing the IAB/Butterfly box thingy. lol, I am glad he didnt fail me for having a b16 Tranny! =X... But yeah for people who gonna ref your car, you need almost every part for your motor, even if it has nothing to do with emissions!

has anybody gotten their 2000 ek hatchback to pass bar/ref with 98 itr? from what i read 2kgs-R had a gsr orginally, so it came with the fuel tank pressure sensor and two-way valve and the proper charcoal canister and valve. 2kgs-R only had to get the parts that he listed. so to do this swap legally in cali you will need the fuel tank pressure sensor and two-way valve that are at the gas tank and the proper charcoal canister and valve correct? becuase the ref will know that the 2000 hatchbacks did not come with those smog parts and will be looking for them.
any help or info greatly appreciated.
