Re: What intake manifold to get?? (Jordo)
I would honestly keep your manifold and bump the boost up a pound or two to see what that does in terms of power. The ITR manifold isn't a bad design. If you really want to switch manifolds look into the VictorX.

I just put together a poor mans ITR setup.
I was gonna go with the itr manifold since im going for the most useable power
band. I ended up going with the AEBS after comparing peoples results. Also the
price is a huge plus. All in all, im very happy with it. Some people have had
complaints about the casting quality, but mine was near perfect. Casting was
on par with any of the OEM manifolds ive looked at. Very clean and unisen.
However, i did have a chance to look at another AEBS manifold that one of the
vendors was selling at the strip, and let me tell you it looked like garbage.
Had to be one of the worst castings ive seen in a while. I guess it could be luck
of the draw, or possibly a case of the early manifolds being skimped in the
quality control area.

Did you ever thank me about telling you about that manifold?

Since this post was created in the FI forum, I am guessing that your motor is turbo, right? Why would someone want to put on a manifold that wasn't designed for turbo use? Although the Skunk2 mani is great for all-motor, it was designed specifically for that, ALL-MOTOR!
We have a manifold that was designed specifically for forced induction. We have proven this manifold to work better than anything else. Major gains from mid to high RPM range in HP and TQ. It has all the factory sensor locations in the plenum and is constructed of CNC machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum. No bad casting lines, just smooth features all the way around. Bolt on as much as 30 H.P. and tune in up to 50 H.P. just from this manifold install.
Ask people who use this manifold:
Lisa Kubo - World's quickest FWD on the planet! over 1200 H.P.
Ed Bergenholtz - well over 1100 H.P.
Sav Leone - 8.80 @ 167 mph
Jason Hunt - 9.5 Street car
there are so many more that are here on HT that have used and have had phenominal results with our manifolds. Ask around.
Golden Eagle Mfg. Turbo Intake Manifolds - the best for FI!

What is the price on the GE ones?
Im not expecting 30whp, because im only running 7-8 pounds, but 10whp would be nice.

Re: What intake manifold to get?? (THE_HX)
i think the stock one worked well for me . I have the JG now. Works even better IMO>
i dont think anything beats a well made sheetmetal on thoguh. assuming it has all the nes ports for all ther sensors.

Re: What intake manifold to get?? (Jordo)
I would use the GEM manifold over any manifold except the ENDYN manifold. Jordo, it runs between $485.00 - $585.00.

Go by Lightning and talk to Josh. He'll show you his on his motor and you'll see if you want to make some real hp GE is the way to go. That thing is freakin awesome.

Re: What intake manifold to get?? (Naterror)
my thoughts are this, i got an aebs manifold polished
171 bux
out performs the itr and skunk
less expensive than any performance manifold
sits about the same height as my stock manifold so i don't have to redo my charge pipe or any pipes
power range from 3-8000rpms
with the jg, it sits to low and power range is most effecient above 7000rpms, i have no headwork done to rev above 8500 anyways.
believe me if i had enough money or not just a weekend warrior street racer, i would have defenitley looked into the ge or the air endyn.
