He probably means the battery ground. Also, have you had the battery and alternator checked? If your alternator is going out the car will shut down once the battery runs out of juice.

Take a look at my thread, seems like we are having similar trouble.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1635498

Check your ECU fuse in the panel under the hood. It is in the rear left corner of the fuse panel, it is a 15 amp mini-fuse.

Let me know how you make out with this problem, maybe we can help each other.

I took a wire and manually grounded the ecu and then my ecu fuse blew. I replaced the fuse and my car did start. It ran for 2 min and it turned off. Does anyone how much residance there should be in the ecu grounds? I am getting like 16-17 ohms. Is that alot????

just try to change all your grounds because I had the same problem and it was that my ground wires were to corroded so my car wouldnt start

or at least disconnect them clean them and put them back or make ur own ground kit with speaker wire

From what I've read here on the forum, 16-17 ohms is the normal for the ground wire resistance.

Since my check engine light is on i wanted to check the codes.I sticked one end of the wire into the fist socket on the plug. The other end of the wire into the other socket. The check enine light was blinking and then my fuel pump went on. I checked the voltage for the sensors and they were getting voltage. I also checked the relay and it clicked 2 times. I went to start the car and it was runing. I let it idle for 10 min and the i went for a test drive. I took it to 5,000 rpm and the car turned of. It wont start. The fuel pump dosent work no spark. Also the relay only clicks one. Can it be the wire from the ecu to the relay? Which wires should i check?
